Prince William may be the heir to the British throne, but deep down, he's just like any regular dad-doting parenting moments and all.
He and Kate Middleton celebrated the baptism of their youngest son, Prince Louis, on Monday, and while Kate carried their infant son into the church, Prince William was tasked with caring for their other two children. And as with all things Prince George and Princess Charlotte, the results were expectedly awww-inducing.
William entered the church with George holding one hand and Charlotte holding the other, and calmly guided them through how to properly address the members of the pulpit. He coached them on when to shake hands and who to say hello to, and the whole series of events (which was, thankfully, caught on camera) was peak precious dad.
In addition to what will undoubtedly go down as the most adorable trio in British royal history, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were also in attendance for Prince Louis' big day. The Duchess of Sussex wore an olive-green Ralph Lauren dress with a matching fascinator, and entered the church hand in hand with her husband ahead of William and the kids.
Louis' baptism took place at The Chapel Royal, St James' Palace, according to a statement from Kensington Palace. In addition to the royal family, only a few guests-including Pippa Middleton and Prince Louis' godparents-were present for the event.
To celebrate the special occasion, Uncle Harry showed up with a monumental present for his baby nephew. He reportedly gifted Prince Louis with a first edition Winnie the Pooh book that boasts a price tag of ВЈ8,000 (or approximately $10,620) for the most heartwarming reason. "One of Harry's happiest childhood memories was being read a bedtime story by his mother," a source told The Sun of the present. "She loved all the old classics, and Harry had the brilliant idea of starting a little library of first editions for Louis, Charlotte, and George to enjoy as they get older."
Looks like Prince William's next dad duty will be bedtime stories-and we know Prince George already has the perfect pajama outfit.
