Even royals deserve one last fling before the ring, and bride-to-be Meghan Markle is no exception. Prince Harry's future bride reportedly celebrated her bachelorette party yesterday with her closest friends, but something tells us that she and her girl group weren't donning matching “She's tying the knot. Buy us a shot” tees for their last night out on London Town. According to new royal reports, no, this definitely wasn't your typical Americanized bachelorette bash. After all, with the literal queen of England among her soon-to-be in-laws, we're thinking strippers and vodka shots were a definite no-go. So, what actually was on the bachelorette itinerary for the future duchess?
According to Daily Mail, Markle reportedly kicked back and relaxed at a "mystery five-star resort" with her girl squad for her "hen do" (as they call it across the pond). Because, when you're planning a wedding of royal proportions, your bachelorette naturally calls for less partying and more R&R. Plus, what better way to get that pre-wedding glow!? The bride-to-be's bachelorette location remains under wraps for her protection, but one of Markle's go-to spots, Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire, is believed to be a top venue for the festivities.
As another potential locale, Markle has previously joked during a visit to Cardiff, Wales, that she would celebrate in the city with her bride tribe. Two members of the crowd welcomed the royal bride-to-be for said festivity, to which Markle responded, "I bet that would be a lot of fun."
Attendees most likely included some of Markle's closet gal pals, like fashion designer Misha Noo, Violet von Westenholz (who introduced the bride-to-be to her Prince Charming), and Jessica Mulroney, who has been helping Markle choose her wedding dress. Other possible guests included London socialite Millie Mackintosh, Markle's former Suits costar Abigail Spencer, and even legendary athlete Serena Williams.
However, two of Markle's leading ladies were reportedly not in attendance-her mom, Doria Radlan, and her future sister-in-law Kate Middleton. The Sun reports that Doria wasn't able to fly in from LA for her daughter's fling, and, despite the lack of alcohol-related tomfoolery, Kate needed to rest during her pregnancy.
While we still don't know very many details about this coveted girls' weekend, Markle revealed February 13 during a royal visit to Scotland that the bachelorette plans had already been "sorted." And, it sounds like she didn't have much say in organizing the matter. When a member of the crowd, Tom Martin, asked Markle about her upcoming hen do, she replied with, "I'm not sure-it's sorted but it will be fun," according to PEOPLE. With a five-star resort as the venue, seems like Markle's friends definitely stepped up to the bachelorette planning plate. After all, it's surely no easy feat coordinating a hen do for a future royal bride.

A source close to the couple also previously revealed to Us Weekly that the duchess-to-be reportedly “wants her bachelorette party to be a celebration of friendship and love." And, she won't be calling her final fling a “bachelorette party" in the first place. "Meghan will be having a party but won't be calling it her 'bachelorette,'" the source added. "Think low-key, think somewhere out of London, good food and drink, a little music. It won't be wild."
With 75 days left until the long-awaited royal wedding, we hope Markle's spa weekend was just the wedding planning pick-me-up she needed.
