Although Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley have been together for several years and are nearing their first wedding anniversary, they've made a habit of keeping their relationship under wraps. Like, really under wraps: Since confirming their marriage with a cheeky post last December, Ackerley has only been featured in two of Robbie's 28 Instagram pics (if you want to get mathematical, that's just 7 percent of the last 11 months' worth of photos). But sound the alarm, because on Thursday, the Australian actress posted an unprecedented third photo of her husband this year, and it might be the cutest one yet.
In the photo, Robbie, Ackerley, and their adorable dog, Boo Radley, walk along a dirt road, looking like perfectly styled models in an Americana-themed photo shoot-despite the couple's Australian and British backgrounds, respectively. Both Robbie and Ackerley wear maroon tops, blue jeans, flat brown boots, and sunglasses, and Boo stays close to Ackerley's side, even without a leash. "🌵DREAMLAND🌵" the I, Tonya star captioned the pic. Ackerley also posted a photo from his and Robbie's dreamy day. "Team LC - pic no. 3! DREAMLAND #NMfilm," he captioned a group shot, perhaps hinting that the pair are in the unnamed desert-y environment working on a film with their shared production company, LuckyChap Entertainment.
The Robbie-Ackerleys confirmed the rumors that they had tied the knot last December in the most badass way possible, when Robbie posted a photo in which she and Ackerley kiss in the background while, in the foreground, she flips off the camera with her wedding ring-adorned finger. At the time, Woman's Day revealed that the nuptials had taken place on Robbie's grandparents' property in Australia. "The Gold Coast was somewhere she always wanted to get married, given it's where she was raised as a kid, on her grandparents' farm," a source told the magazine. "Tom initially wanted to get married in the U.K., but he knows how much it means to Margot to tie the knot on home soil and how special it is for her, so he didn't put up much of a fight." Shortly after, The Courier-Mail shared yet another sentimental detail about the wedding: that Robbie had worn her mother's wedding gown, a ruffle-covered off-the-shoulder dress, on her big day.
Just last month, Robbie broke her usual policy of keeping her lips tightly zipped and opened up to Us Weekly about married life. "My husband and I were roommates before we were even dating, so I'm kind of living with my roommate and it's awesome," she said. "We lived with a bunch of people and now we're just living as the two of us, so we feel very grown up now."
