Football Player Baker Mayfield Calls His Wedding A "Real-Life Dream"

Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield is still gushing from his wedding to girlfriend Emily Wilkinson last week. On Sunday, the football player posted a few gorgeous shots of the celebration in Malibu, calling it a "real-life dream."

In the images, Mayfield gave fans a glimpse into the stunning event they hosted at California's Calamingos Ranch. The couple decked the ceremony area out in rows of hanging lights and bundles of white flower blossoms. Mayfield also included a photograph of Wilkinson in her dress, which was a romantic, classic bridal gown with a long train. “The Mayfields… Last week was a real life dream. Unbelievable day surrounded by family and friends. Excited to start the next chapter of our journey together @ewilkinson, love you Em Lou,” he wrote in the caption. Their photographer also offered a pair of sweet portraits of the newlyweds together.

Mayfield, who was selected as the first overall draft pick by Cleveland in 2018, has been linked to Wilkinson since last year. They both announced their engagement on Instagram in June. Wilkinson shared a photo of Mayfield down on one knee and said, "I get to be this guy's WIFE! Best day of my life. I love you fiancГ©!" Mayfield also posted some images of the happy moment, including a close-up of Wilkinson's round-cut diamond sparkler. "Can't wait to do life with the most perfect girl. Emily Wilkinson, I love you," he gushed.

The wedding, according to People, included several of Mayfield's teammates from the Cleveland Browns, including wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. The couple didn't waste any time getting to their honeymoon: After sharing some wedding content, they let their followers knew they'd made it to their vacation destination. Over some snaps of Mayfield by a crystalline beach, Wilkson wrote, "That's a good lookin husband right there." Clearly, they're both really embracing married life.
